Get Started is what you do over the next 7–14 days so you arrive on Day 1 (Saturday June 13) already comfortable with the tools — terminal, editor, Git, a little Python, browser DevTools, HTML/CSS. The classroom time is for building, not setup. Get Started is for setup.
What you’ll build by Demo Day
You’ll ship an agentic AI application — your capstone — deployed to the public internet, built in 8 weeks, demoed live to industry judges on Friday August 14. Each student picks (or proposes) a domain and builds their own; you’ll all build alongside the same in-class reference app (Socratic Angle — a personal study tutor) that Kamal builds live with you.

By Week 8, your capstone runs unattended on a schedule, produces multi-modal output, has evals and traces, and is publicly deployed at a URL on apps.human-angle.com.
What to do first
- Read the welcome email Kamal sent you, top to bottom. It has the dates, the pickup details for your cohort laptop, and the Discord invite. If you don’t have that email, message Kamal.
- Join the cohort Discord and post a 2-sentence intro in
#introductions. - Work through the rest of Get Started in order. Each module page on this portal is one self-contained tutorial. Most modules take 30–60 minutes; the JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS references are 2–3 hours each, and the macOS installation guide is 60–90 minutes.

How to use this portal
This portal is your home base for the program. The Get Started modules live here permanently — come back any time during the 8 weeks when you need to remember a terminal command, a TypeScript pattern, or which API takes which parameters. Each week’s page goes live a few days before that class. The Resources page is your reference shelf — cheatsheets, official docs, and contact info, all linked from one place.
If you get stuck anywhere in Get Started — anywhere — post in #help on Discord. The single biggest predictor of success in this program is asking for help when you’re stuck rather than waiting.
